 | 20 Games in a Row for Trujillo Thursday, April 14th , 2044 Chalk up another one for Guadalajara HS Grand Slam second baseman Manny Trujillo. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Trujillo went 2-for-5 in today's game at Speedsters Fields but saw his club defeated, 8-7, by the host Los Angeles HS Speedsters. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Grand Slam manager said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Manny Trujillo hit a solo-shot off Preston Godfrey in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. This year, Trujillo is batting .394 with 13 home runs. |   |
