 | Sultans Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, April 13th , 2042 It won't be a season to remember for the Mérida HS Sultans, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Sultans were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2042 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Mérida HS starting pitcher Oscar Ledesma. This is the 3rd time in a row that the Sultans have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2039. |   |
