Ecatepec HS Seawolves second baseman Ramon Sanchez wielded a big stick against the Kansas City HS Victory and his club walked off the field winners by the score of 16-3. Sanchez helped tame Kansas City HS with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Ramon Sanchez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Kyle Price in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and walked in a run in the 9th.

Jeremy Adame has led his Nashville HS Nobles to a Round 1 victory.
Nashville HS's right fielder was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the Kingston HS Trail Blazers.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series."
The club advanced to the Round 2 with a 9-5 triumph at Nashville HS Stadium in the deciding game.
Adame was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .520 average, as well as 5 home runs and 12 RBI.
The Nashville HS Nobles will play against the Guadalupe HS Tides in the next round. Guadalupe HS won their series against the Guatemala HS Atlantics 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |  | Tides Advance to Round 2

The Guadalupe HS Tides "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Round 1 and eliminating the Guatemala HS Atlantics, according to series MVP Bobby Escobedo.
"This is the big stage, we're off to the Round 2 and looking towards the Round 3," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine."
Guadalupe HS won the final game 12-10, to wrap up the series 4-2.
Escobedo led his team to the series win by putting up a .593 average, with a .656 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 13 runs.
The Guadalupe HS Tides don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Kingston HS Trail Blazers - Nashville HS Nobles series. Nashville HS leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. | | |
