 | Thunder Cats Heading to Round 2 Wednesday, April 23rd , 2042 With a 13-7 win to wrap up the series at Nashville HS Stadium, the Charlotte HS Thunder Cats have eliminated the Nashville HS Nobles in the Round 1 and move on to the Round 2. Charlotte HS controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep. Terry Crockett led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .556 batting average, along with a .619 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 7 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Charlotte HS Thunder Cats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York HS Spikes - Pachuca HS 89ers series. New York HS leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
