 | Charlotte HS Advances to Round 3 Tuesday, May 6th , 2042 Fans at Thunder Cats Ballpark saw the Round 2 come to a close today, as the Charlotte HS Thunder Cats defeated the New York HS Spikes by a score of 8-4, and advanced to the Round 3. Charlotte HS won the series 4-2 and will now continue their march toward the Round 3. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said shortstop Jeff Gregory, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The Charlotte HS Thunder Cats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Port-au-Prince HS Sky Sox - Wichita HS Diamondbacks series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
