 | Garner Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Irish Monday, March 14th , 2039 Chris Garner was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 7-1 Toledo HS Zips triumph at Ixtapaluca HS Stadium. The 15-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Zips past the Ixtapaluca HS Irish. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Garner told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The right fielder went 4-for-4, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Chris Garner singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Franklin Bueno in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Reynaldo Moran in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Enrique Iglesias in the 9th. This year, Garner has batted at a .411 pace with 23 hits, 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 17 times. |   |
