The 16-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Walruses past the Xico HS Continentals. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Aguilar told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The left fielder went 3-for-4, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Hector Aguilar struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Gutierrez in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Miguel Maestas in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Octavio Rodriguez in the 6th.
