| Hitting Streak Still Alive for Kliment Friday, March 31st , 2045 Diamondbacks first baseman Zach Kliment has extended his hitting streak to 30 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Indianapolis HS Shamrocks. Wichita HS won the ballgame, 10-5.
"Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Zach Kliment walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, hit a sac fly in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Joe Quick in the 10th.
Looking at his season stats, Kliment has compiled a .358 batting average and a .418 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 22 runs. | | |
