 | Year Over for Zips Freedman Saturday, April 6th , 2041 Josh Freedman has to call it a season. The Toledo HS Zips starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Wichita HS Diamondbacks and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Freedman was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 6-7 months. To this point in the season, Freedman shows a 1-1 record, 8 starts, 38 innings, 37 strikeouts and a 3.32 ERA. |   |
