The Brampton HS second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Blasters a win, 25-1. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Acosta said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Sergio Acosta walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Angel Aguilar in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. For the year, Acosta has hit .360 with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 40 runs. |   |
