That was the resounding sentiment in the Matamoros HS Foresters locker room when they were told they had clinched the Conference 1 Division 2 title, for the 3rd time. With a 24-12 record, Matamoros HS's stars certainly feel like they have a good chance to go all the way. "We're learned a lot under our coaching staff this year. They've taught us to never be over-confident, and play every game like a championship game. I think with that and the team we have, we have a great chance to bring a 2nd championship to Matamoros HS this year," said left fielder Jose Barrandey. |   |
