The Cuernavaca HS first baseman went 5-for-7 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Mallards a win, 19-0. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Jimenez said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Juan Jimenez hit a solo-shot off Ben Hann in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dave Worley in the 4th, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
