Puebla HS first baseman Felix Diaz thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Puebla HS to a win, 16-6, over Colorado Springs HS.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Diaz said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Diaz, who leads the SL2 in RBI with 40, was 4-for-5 on the day with 9 runs batted in.
Felix Diaz hit a two-run double in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Israel Rodriguez in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Miles Davis in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jason Swanson in the 9th.
