 | Huge Year for Foresters Sanchez, Nabs Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, May 28th , 2045 Franklin Sanchez had a marvelous 2045 season. The Matamoros HS mound mainstay garnered the most votes and has been named the SL1 Pitcher of the Year Award honoree. The Foresters star dominated his opposition, finishing with 4 wins, no losses and a 2.43 ERA. In 8 starts he worked a total of 40.2 innings, striking out 43, while walking 12. Other clubs managed to hit only .218 against him. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
