At the age of 15, the Guadalupe HS left fielder has been named the winner of the Conference 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .419 batting average and a .475 on-base percentage this year. In 37 games he piled up 67 hits, 18 doubles, 2 triples, 23 home runs, 55 RBIs and 45 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 30. Keith Collard of the Kingston HS Trail Blazers finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Jose Mendez of the Chimalhuacan HS Airhogs finished third with 6 first place votes.
