 | St. Louis HS's Books Elbows His Way to SL1 Award Saturday, May 25th , 2041 Chris Books is the latest Conference 1 Pitcher of the Year Award winner. The St. Louis HS starter really shone on the hill time and again and finished 2041 with a sparkling 2-2 record. In 8 starts, he fanned 43, walked 10 in 40 innings and posted a 2.02 ERA. Books held opposing hitters to a .247 batting average. He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 30.
