 | Andy Hernandez Nabs Best Player Trophy Sunday, May 26th , 2041 The manager of the Ixtapaluca HS Irish said he thinks Andy Hernandez is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 15, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2041 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Conference 1 Most Valuable Player Award. His winning campaign featured a .420 batting average and a .497 on-base percentage this year. In 35 games he piled up 60 hits, 12 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 48 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 30. Adam Coleman of the Jacksonville HS Tomahawks finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Jose Ortega of the Matamoros HS Foresters finished third with 4 first place votes.
