 | Conference 2 Names #1 Player Sunday, May 26th , 2041 He may have less experience than most of his FBL High School 2 peers, but that didn't slow Ernie Toms down at all in 2041. At the age of 15, the Brampton HS left fielder has been named the winner of the Conference 2 Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .393 batting average and a .494 on-base percentage this year. In 35 games he piled up 53 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 20 home runs, 48 RBIs and 34 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 30. Bill Guerrero of the Pachuca HS 89ers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Jim Haderlie of the Guadalupe HS Tides finished third with 2 first place votes.
