 | 5-for-5 Day for Martinez Thursday, April 3rd , 2042 It was a high-five day for Raul Martinez, at least for a while. The New York HS left fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Guatemala HS Atlantics, but they were in short supply at the end, as Guatemala HS won the game, 13-12. Martinez finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Spikes couldn't hold off the Atlantics. "Raul was hitting everything," said Spikes manager . "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Raul Martinez walked in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. At present, Martinez is batting .250 and has collected 3 home runs, 22 RBIs, .330 OBP and scored 14 runs. |   |
