 | Hit Streak for Hosford Reaches 20 Sunday, April 6th , 2042 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Ken Hosford did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Victory Park. For the last 20 games in a row, the 16-year-old left fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Kansas City HS Victory beat the Tijuana HS Sky Chiefs, 16-8. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Hosford told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Kansas City HS clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Ken Hosford grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a sac fly in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season, Hosford has 16 home runs and a .368 batting average. |   |
