He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Jacksonville HS Tomahawks center fielder went 1-for-4, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 6-2, by the Xico HS Continentals at Tomahawks Park. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Jonathan Boyer flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This season, Boyer has hit at a .333 clip with 14 RBIs, 3 home runs and 5 runs scored. |   |
