 | Soto Slams 3 Homers for Continentals Saturday, April 9th , 2044 Fans are still buzzing after Xico HS whipped the Soyapango HS Jackals by the score of 18-8 at Xico HS Fields. Francisco Soto smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 4 hits in 4 at-bats, had 11 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Soto said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Soto said. "Three is just... wow." Francisco Soto hit a three-run home run off Roberto Lopez in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Mario Ruiz in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jose Fuentes in the 5th and walked in the 7th. For the season, Soto has hit .378 with 14 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 35 times. |   |
