 | Sanchez Torches Impact for 5 Hits Sunday, April 10th , 2044 Ramon Sanchez exploded for a barrage of base hits at Impact Park. The Ecatepec HS second baseman had a field day in his team's 12-5 triumph over the Veracruz HS Impact, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Sanchez must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Ramon Sanchez singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Luis Banuelos in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Danny Gutierrez in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Sanchez is currently hitting at a .347 pace with 12 home runs, 42 RBIs and has scored 42 times. |   |
