 | Hit Streak for Jackson Reaches 41 Wednesday, April 13th , 2044 The Nashville HS Nobles stopped the San Juan HS River Kings, 11-1, and Joe Jackson collected a base hit yet again. The Nashville HS first baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 41. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Jackson told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Joe Jackson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd and walked in the 6th. Jackson is swinging at a .453 pace on the year with 20 home runs, 48 RBIs and 53 runs scored.
