 | Ruiz Raps 3 HR Against Seahawks Wednesday, April 13th , 2044 Fans at Seawolves Field got an impromptu firework display courtesy of Ecatepec HS Seawolves second baseman Juan Ruiz. He belted a trifecta of home runs to power his club to victory, 21-5, over the St. Louis HS Seahawks. In the win, Ruiz stunned the Seahawks pitching staff for 4 hits in 5 at-bats and knocked in 6 runs. "It was the best kind of day," Ruiz said after the game. "I hardly had to work for it. Hitting today was a piece of cake, with lots of extra icing on it." Juan Ruiz hit a two-run home run off Erik Bissonnette in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Erik Bissonnette in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Blake Keith in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. For the season, Ruiz has hit .367 with 18 home runs and 61 RBIs. He has played in 35 games and scored 52 times. |   |
