 | Brito Hitless, Streak Ends at 21 Wednesday, April 9th , 2042 It was a doubly miserable day for Mike Brito of the Pachuca HS 89ers, as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end and his team lose, 5-4, to the Querétaro HS Buffaloes at Ballpark of Querétaro HS. The 16-year-old shortstop was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Buffaloes. "Anyone on a 21-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Querétaro HS manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." In the 2042 season Brito is hitting .386 with 7 home runs. |   |
