The 16-year-old first baseman went 6-for-6, collecting 1 single, 3 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run to help the Mallards top the Charlotte HS Thunder Cats by a score of 22-9. A jubilant Jimenez told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable." "Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-6 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible." For the day, Jimenez finished with 4 RBI and 6 runs scored to go with his 6 hits. Juan Jimenez doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Johnson in the 8th.
