 | Jimenez Raps Charlotte HS for 6 Hits Monday, April 14th , 2042 It was a big day with the bat for Juan Jimenez of the Cuernavaca HS Mallards at Ballpark of Cuernavaca HS as he bashed out hit after hit after hit to defeat the Charlotte HS Thunder Cats, 22-9. After the game he said, "Guys, it's just one game in a long season. I hit it hard and found some holes. 6 hits in 6 tries. But my hits are not the big thing in the game. The victory is the important thing. That's the story." At the end of the game Jimenez had collected 6 hits in 6 at-bats and a small mention in the record book. And the Mallards had won. Juan Jimenez doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Johnson in the 8th. In this current campaign Jimenez is hitting at a .393 clip with 14 home runs and 38 RBIs. |   |
