 | Big Day with Bat: Haderlie 5-for-5 Tuesday, April 15th , 2042 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Guadalupe HS's Jim Haderlie made it happen against the Peacocks. Everything came together at the plate for the 16-year-old left fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Tides triumph, 8-3, at Tides Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Haderlie said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jim Haderlie doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Haderlie on the season is hitting .397 with 11 home runs. His stats include 44 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |   |
