 | Victory Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Monday, April 25th , 2044 Kansas City HS Victory won a nail-biting series against the Port-au-Prince HS Sky Sox 4-3, wrapping up the Round 1 finale 16-8 at Victory Park. Victory catcher Alex Palomino was named the series MVP. He batted .375, drove in 17 runs and scored 12 to lead Kansas City HS into the next round of play. "Alex was real solid for us, real solid," said Victory manager . "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time." The Kansas City HS Victory will play against the Ecatepec HS Seawolves in the next round. Ecatepec HS won their series against the Wichita HS Diamondbacks 4 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.. |   |
