 | Ridin' High: Muth Hits for Cycle Monday, April 21st , 2042 The New York College Braves wasted a big day at the plate by left fielder Mike Muth in their 8-2 loss to the Cleveland College Gems. Muth hit for the cycle, stroking 4 hits off the Cleveland College pitching staff in a losing effort. "I actually didn't feel particularly great out there today," Muth said in the clubhouse following the loss. "It was kind of random chance that the balls found some gaps, and here we are." For the day, he finished 4-for-5, had 2 RBI and scored 1 run. Mike Muth tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Tom Woodring in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. This season, Muth has hit at a .320 clip with 32 RBIs, 12 home runs and 46 runs scored. |   |
