Peter Leyva was sneaky fast, on the mark, and hard to hit. He led the Panama College Flyers to victory, 12-0, blanking the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal on 6 hits. He had 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.
"You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," Port-au-Prince College skipper told reporters after the shutout loss. "He just had a real deceptive fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."
