 | Torres Belts 3 HRs Friday, April 25th , 2042 Whatever Eddie Torres ate for breakfast before his game against the Culiacan College Islanders, it gave him some impressive power. The San Pedro Sula College catcher smacked three balls up and out of the park at Swamp Foxes Park. His home run barrage helped the Swamp Foxes defeat the Islanders, 10-3. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-4, scored 4 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Eddie Torres hit a two-run home run off Eduardo Farias in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Eduardo Farias in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Javy Aguilar in the 8th. This season, Torres is batting at a .360 clip with 25 home runs and 52 RBIs. |   |
