 | Round 1 Goes the Distance, Port-au-Prince College Prevails Friday, May 6th , 2044 With a narrow 4-3 series win, the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal have eliminated the León College Magicians and are Round 1 winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Round 2, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said first baseman Joël Martineau, who was named series MVP. Port-au-Prince College won the final game by a score of 12-8, wrapping it up at Arsenal Field. Martineau's big series saw him hit .406 with a .441 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 12 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Port-au-Prince College Arsenal will play against the Vancouver College Players in the next round.
