 | Keys Advance to Round 2 Monday, May 5th , 2042 The excitement in Laval College is palpable as the local club has advanced through the Round 1. The Laval College Keys downed the Zapopan College Golden Panthers 6-5 tonight at Golden Panthers Park, to take the series 4-2. "Things are going to get crazy in Laval College for the Round 2. The fans are going to be behind us 100 percent, we know that," said Jaden Harris, who earned MVP honors. "There's a lot of motivation in our clubhouse right now to make sure we give them something to cheer about." For the series, Harris hit .542 with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 13 hits, 6 home runs, 15 RBI and scored 11 runs. The Laval College Keys don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York College Braves - Camagüey College Bluebirds series. New York College leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
