 | Bluebirds Move on to Round 3 Tuesday, May 13th , 2042 The fans in Camagüey College are celebrating the Bluebirds victory over the Laval College Keys in the Round 2. They defeated the Laval College Keys 7-6 in the finale played at Keys Park to capture the series 4-1. Ernesto Huerta was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Bluebirds shortstop batted .421, drove in 4 runs and scored 4 runs in the series. "The Keys are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Huerta said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Camagüey College Bluebirds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Miguelito College Thunder Cats - Guatemala College Spurs series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |   |
