| 3-Homer Hat Trick for Rivera Wednesday, March 22nd , 2045 Players don't hit three home runs in a game very often and when they do, it is something to celebrate. After today, Julio Rivera can celebrate.
The Laval College Keys catcher powered three into the stands at Keys Park against the Zapopan College Golden Panthers.
"It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," Rivera told reporters after the game. "Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today, I was really trying on that last one."
In all, he was 3-for-5 as the Keys toppled Zapopan College by a score of 14-1, knocking in 7 runs and scoring 3 times.
"He is blessed with a natural home run swing," Laval College manager said. "He gets the ball up in the air."
