 | Ptaszek Socks It to Tasmanian Devils, Cracks 6 Hits Saturday, March 15th , 2042 It seemed that San Miguelito College third baseman Mike Ptaszek could do no wrong as the Thunder Cats KO'd the Tasmanian Devils, 22-0. Ptaszek rapped out 6 hits in 7 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Tasmanian Devils hurlers were throwing. "I think the Thunder Cats were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Delmas College fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Ptaszek in the postgame press interview. Mike Ptaszek doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Thierry Durand in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Quentin Lacroix in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and flied out in the 9th. So far on the season, Ptaszek is hitting .492 with 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 29 hits and played in 13 games. |   |
