 | 5 Hits for Sailors Rappold Friday, April 21st , 2045 The Detroit College Sailors stopped the Toronto College Rangers by a score of 20-1 at Ballpark of Detroit College, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Ryan Rappold. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Rappold said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Rappold did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Rangers. "Not much that I can say," offered Toronto College manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us." Ryan Rappold hit a sac fly in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Matt Ready in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
