 | Reds Win Round 1 Tuesday, May 2nd , 2045 The Miami College Reds have swept the Hamilton College Clowns and are on to the Round 2. Miami College won 13-7 today at Clowns Ballpark to clinch the Round 1. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Miami College first baseman Gary Collins, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Collins won the award with a .417 batting average and a .632 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Miami College Reds don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Guatemala College Spurs - San Miguelito College Thunder Cats series. San Miguelito College leads the series 3 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
