 | San Miguelito College Sweeps into the Round 2 Tuesday, May 2nd , 2045 The San Miguelito College Thunder Cats appear poised to make a serious run at the Round 3 after a convincing sweep over the Guatemala College Spurs in the Round 1. It's now on to the Round 2 for San Miguelito College, who won the final game 13-12 and took the series 4-0. "Everyone's doing their part and things are falling into place," said San Miguelito College right fielder Rogelio Enriquez, who was named series MVP. "It feels like a special year." For the series, Enriquez hit .471 with a .526 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs. The San Miguelito College Thunder Cats will play against the Miami College Reds in the next round. Miami College won their series against the Hamilton College Clowns 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
