 | Panama College Advances to Round 2 Saturday, May 6th , 2045 The fans in Panama College are celebrating the Flyers victory over the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal in the Round 1. They defeated the Port-au-Prince College Arsenal 8-7 in the finale played at Arsenal Field to capture the series 4-2. Dave Moose was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Flyers left fielder batted .409, drove in 11 runs and scored 9 runs in the series. "The Arsenal are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Moose said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Panama College Flyers will play against the Carrefour College Sabercats in the next round. Carrefour College won their series against the Laval College Keys 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |   |
