 | Sabercats Win Round 2 Saturday, May 13th , 2045 The Carrefour College Sabercats bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a Round 3 championship. Carrefour College downed the Panama College Flyers 10-9 tonight at Flyers Park, to take the Round 2 4-1. "It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Danny Jacobsma, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the FBL College." For the series, Jacobsma had 13 hits for .542, with a .607 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 9 runs. The Carrefour College Sabercats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Miguelito College Thunder Cats - Miami College Reds series. San Miguelito College leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |   |
