 | SL1 Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, May 31st , 2045 He may only be 18, but Ramon Gaona of the Panama College Flyers has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Conference 1. The reliever was today named the SL1 Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2045. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 6 saves in 15 relief appearances and 29 strikeouts in 18.1 innings. He had a record of 3-0 to go with his 0.98 ERA. He received 25 first place votes out of a possible 30. Willy Kieffer of the Carrefour College Sabercats finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Bobby Nieto of the New York College Braves finished third with 1 first place vote.
