The future appears bright for the Hamilton College Clowns relief ace, who captured the award with 6 saves in 14 relief appearances, 19 strikeouts in 17.1 innings and a record of 1-0 to go with his 1.04 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Oscar Colindres of the San Miguelito College Thunder Cats finished second in voting, while Juan Estrada of the San Miguelito College Thunder Cats finished third.
