 | 2045 SL1 Pitcher of the Year Award Named Friday, June 2nd , 2045 Jose Pineiro had a sensational 2045 season in the Conference 1. The Panama College pitching machine has been proclaimed this year's Pitcher of the Year Award recipient. This season Pineiro starred with a 5-2 record. In 12 starts he gave up 61 base hits and struck out 69 in 58.2 innings with a 3.22 ERA. He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jesus Gutierrez of the San Pedro Sula College Swamp Foxes finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Peter Leyva of the Panama College Flyers finished third.
