 | Green Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Monday, March 31st , 2042 Nobody has been able to shut down New York College Night Riders third baseman Tony Green in recent days. The San Antonio College Loggerheads fared no better than the rest. Today at Loggerheads Stadium, Green picked up 1 hit in 5 at-bats en route to a win, 9-4. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Tony Green flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jeff Holloway in the 3rd, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
