Dominguez Gets Award for Relief Work Saturday, June 7th , 2042 Alex Dominguez was a calming influence out of the Camagüey College Bluebirds bullpen this season.
His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Conference 1 Reliever of the Year Award for 2042.
The Cienfuegos, Cuba native won the award with 12 saves in 19 relief appearances, 14 strikeouts in 20.2 innings and a record of 1-3 to go with his 2.18 ERA.
