 | Fleming Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, April 6th , 2042 The New York College Night Riders stopped the Detroit College Sailors, 10-2, and Curtis Fleming collected a base hit yet again. The New York College first baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Fleming told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Curtis Fleming hit a two-run home run off Ignacio Villalobos in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th and struck out in the 6th. Currently Fleming is batting .373 with 10 home runs and 19 RBIs. |   |
