 | Polino Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, April 12th , 2044 Gabe Polino really did a number on the Cleveland College Gems -- and the Gems did one right back on Polino's team, the Camagüey College Bluebirds, taking the Bluebirds Park contest, 9-7. Polino delivered a huge 5-for-5 performance for Camagüey College, but did not deliver the victory. "I felt real good in the batter's box," the 19-year-old shortstop said after putting up a game for the ages. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Gabe Polino doubled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season, Polino is swinging the bat at a .308 pace.
